Auteron ("we", "us", "our") designs, deploys, and manages custom AI systems for businesses across the United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit auteron.ai, interact with our forms, book a discovery call, become a client, or use systems we deploy on your behalf.

We collect only what is reasonably needed to operate the site, communicate with prospective and active clients, deliver the services you request, and improve the Auteron product over time.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: name, business name, email address, phone number, role, location, business details, project requirements, intake form answers, newsletter and waitlist signups, Associate Network and Referral Associate applications (including audience type, referral plans, and social/website profile), service interest, communication preferences, and anything you share over email, calls, or messaging.

Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, approximate geographic location (city/region), and similar usage data.

Information from our tools: usage data from analytics platforms, lead-capture forms, scheduling tools, and any integrations you ask us to connect (e.g. calendars, CRMs, voice infrastructure).

Client operational data: when you become an Auteron client, we may process data your AI systems handle — call transcripts, lead records, automation logs, documents indexed by knowledge agents, and similar operational data — under our service agreement with you.

3. How We Use Information

Operate, secure, and improve the website and our services.

Respond to inquiries, schedule calls, prepare proposals, and deliver requested services.

Communicate updates, onboarding steps, system notifications, and (with permission) marketing.

Monitor and improve AI systems we build and maintain on your behalf.

Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Analyze usage patterns to improve content, pricing pages, and the overall experience.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar storage (localStorage) to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and (with consent) support analytics and marketing.

Categories used: Essential (always on), Analytics, Marketing, and Personalization. You choose what you allow through the cookie banner or by visiting your Data Preferences page anytime.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) trusted service providers operating on our behalf (hosting, analytics, payment processing, communication tools, AI infrastructure providers, scheduling platforms); (b) integrations you explicitly ask us to connect; (c) legal authorities where required by law; and (d) acquirers in the event of a merger or acquisition, with continued protection of your information.

For client operational data processed by AI systems we deploy, we act as a service provider / processor under our agreement with you. We do not use that data to train third-party foundation models.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Marketing contacts can request removal at any time. Client operational data retention is governed by your service agreement with Auteron.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, and to object to certain uses. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with applicable laws have specific rights — including the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (Auteron does not sell personal information).

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information — including encryption in transit, scoped access, secure infrastructure providers, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work continuously to keep your data protected.

9. Children

Auteron services are intended for businesses. The site and services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the site or directly when appropriate.
